Activities begin at 11 am and will run until 3.30 pm. James Square is located in the centre of the town. Big Rory will make his first appearance at midday and the Pipeband will first play at 1 pm.
The gates open at the Market Park in Crieff at 10 am. Activities begin at 1030 am with local heavyweights, highland dancing and solo piping. The Scottish Heavyweight Championship begins at midday. The 160 strong Canadian Pipeband will march down Crieff High Street through the Square then on the the Market Park at 1 pm. Festivities will end at approx. 5.30 pm with the massed Pipes and Drums playing in the centre of the arena....a spectacle not to be missed.
Parking is very limited around the Park. To ease congestion, please park at the Braidhaugh on the extreme south of the town, just before where the A822 Muthill road crosses the River Earn if approaching from the South. You will then find shuttle buses to take you to the Park itself. Signs will direct you.
