Crieff Directors' vision for important new Games & sports/social venue in Crieff

new venue

The directors of CHG Ltd. would like to present the plans of what could be achieved for Crieff and district by moving to a new green field site that would be about 400yds from the existing Market Park. A new purpose built facility would provide a larger area than is available at the current market Park and would include the grandstand complex that would provide covered seating for 350 people. Note that the actual arena would be built with a banking around it that would be 2.2 metres above the pitch at the top, hence retaining the 'amphitheatre' feel and enhancing the viewing area greatly. The provision of four changing rooms, referees room, with all toilets and showering, as well as cooking facilities make this a very efficient and attractive building. A practice football/rugby/other training pitch is included and the whole complex would bring a facility to Crieff that would otherwise be unattainable.

New Venue

Please take some time to study the plans and let us know what you think. The board feels that this would be a very positive move for Crieff and would ask site visitors to comment with their views on this proposal, and indeed with any other general comments or feedback on Crieff Highland Games.
